In 1Q 2009, the number of mobile communication subscribers in Ukraine amounted to 55.274 million, according to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

In January-March 2009, the number of mobile communication subscribers decreased as compared with October-December 2008 by 0.75% or by 420.1 thousand.

Let us remember that in 4Q 2008, the number of mobile communication subscribers in Ukraine amounted to 55.694 million.
