The number of CDMA-operators subscribers in Ukraine by the end of May 2009 had increased by 2.21% compared to April 2009, reaching 896.079 thousand, according to the report by IKS-Consulting
By the end of May, the largest mobile operator in Ukraine had become a 3G CDMA communication operator Telesystems of Ukraine (TM PeopleNet). The subscriber base of the operator in May rose by 3.19% compared to April 2009, to 307.190 thousand.
The second was ITC, with the number of subscribers reaching 306.356 thousand and a 0.79% increase in its subscriber base in May.
The growth rate of Intertelekom subscriber base in May amounted to 2.73% or 7 511 net connections. Thus, the number of subscribers had increased to 282.533 thousand.
