“In accordance with Article 18 of the Law of Ukraine On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, I am resigning from the position of the Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine. 

My statement is caused by sharp disagreement with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko on the political, personnel and economic issues, as well as the ethics of relationships among the members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. 

Besides, the Prime Minister of Ukraine is blocking some reforms urgent for the industry and the allocation of funds required to rebuild the infrastructure for Euro-2012 Football Championship in Ukraine,” the Minister's Statement reads.
